Mundo Afora is a platform (web and magazine) that will help the Brazilian community to be better integrated into the Canadian society; by helping them understand the culture and local habits.
The brand has a friendly and approachable voice, and the script typeface present on the logotype represents the resilient, adventurous spirits of the people that decide to start a new life in a new country.
The website makes use of bright and soft colours as a reference to the personality of the Brazilian people. To contrast with these colours, a neutral was chosen to highlight some sections that have more interactivity; one example being the YouTube Space and the hero section.
The angled lines present in some parts of the layout help to break the modular structure; creating a more dynamic look—without affecting the user experience in a negative way.
